The Flash #23.3: The Rogues Review

Batman no longer has the best rogues gallery.

This is the third week of Villain Moth already.  And if you’ve been reading my reviews, you know I love origin stories and I view Villain Moth as a chance for me to understand or meet some of these villains for the first time.  This is a great issue that does exactly that, and the rogues proven themselves to be memorable villains.

The story is closely intertwine with Forever Evil event, and it shows scene we already seen before from the Rogues’ point of view.  Unlike the Black Manta issue, the story focuses more on the Rogues themselves, and explain why the Trickster is around, but not Golden Glider.  Other than that, the issue gives us more details on the Rouges’ dynamic and closer look on Captain Cold as a leader.

The ending of this issue is great, and it allows us to better know what Rogues Rebellion coming next month is about.  When Gem Cities needs a protector and no one is around, we can also count on the Rogues.
