A team-up to better improved Windows Phone.

Microsoft announced that they will acquire Nokia’mobile phone division, or Devices & Services division for over $7.1 billion.  The deal will be an aggressive expansion to Microsoft’s Windows Phone and Nokia will be providing the company in-house smartphone development and manufacturing infrastructure.

Nokia has been producing a series of flagship Windows Phone devices, including the Lumia 1020 and Lumia 928.  These two are really the best Windows Phone out there, and it’s great the company will be the sole manufacture for the phones.

The Windows Phone has been taking serious hit on sale recently.  Hopefully the deal can save Windows Phone.
