Yu-Gi-Oh! ArtFX J Jonouchi Statue Review

Heart of the Underdog.

Kotobukiya has released the Jonouchi (Joey) statue from the hit Yu-Gi-Oh! series.  Let’s review it:

You can see his trusty Red-Eyes Black Dragon on the box.  Man, it would be really cool to see that as a statue.

There are not a lot of stuff in the package, but surprisingly that’s the way I like it.

Here are the glam shots:

A close-up of the Duel Disk.  The design is based on the one from the animated series, and it’s different from the comic version.  The main differences are the red in the graveyard area, and the extra slots for magic/trap cards.

What do you have in your hand Joey?

Since I got my figure for the first print, I also receive this cute Scapegoat keychain.

Isn’t that just cutest thing?  Anyway, the figure is a classic Kotobukiya one that comes with great detail and great paint job.  Since it’s a statue, so you cannot choose what pose you want him to be in.  However, the given pose is great already, so I’m not complaining.

A great collection to the Yu-Gi-Oh! statues I’ve been collecting.

9/10
