The CW is Developing “Flash” as Arrow Spinoff

Another DC superhero has fallen.

It’s announced today that The Flash TV series is being developed by CW.  However, the character, Barry Allen, will be first introduced in Arrow.  CW president Mark Pedowitz states: “We plan to introduce a recurring character [on Arrow] and an origin story for Dr. Barry Allen, who you know as The Flash.” Pedowitz added, “We’ll see how it goes. Hopefully it will go well. We do want to expand upon the DC universe. We think that there are rich characters that we can use and we thought this was a very organic way to get there.

It’s a cool, but strange choice to introduce The Flash in Arrow.  So far, the show hasn’t feature any character with super power yet.  Also, there’s no news on who will be playing Barry Allen at this moment.

What do you think about The Flash coming to Arrow.  Also, do you even watch Arrow?
