I finally know why my dad means when he said “I’m not gonna punish you. You punished yourself enough.”
Venture Bros. is in its strongest season ever, and Gary is becoming my favorite character. In this episode, Gary, or Henchman 21, is trying to start a new team of S.P.H.I.N.X., Monarch tries to bomb the Venture compound and a new O.S.I. is formed.
Gary really wants to be somebody. He’s no longer a villain, and he wants to prove it. However, he just keeps on failing, and failing, and it’s really sad to watch him. He sends out invites to people who wants to be part of S.P.H.I.N.X., just to accidentally recruits all the original S.P.H.I.N.X. members and starts an evil organization all over again. Typically Gary, he can never do anything right.
Hank once again puts on a costume in this episode, and it’s funny how he has a confuse gender moment of Destiny. He puts on Countess’ armor that makes him look like a woman, and it’s funny and creepy that Hatred is so interested in Destiny, he’s so close on having a pedophilia relapse.
The Countess Armor is pretty gross. It’s designed to obey everything the commander says, and sits on his lap. How much more sexualize can it be?
Meanwhile, both Monarch and Dr. Mrs. Monarch are planting bombs beneath the Venture compound. Their disgusts are great, and I can’t stop laughing when Monarch reveals his “Beaver Inspector” T-shirt. A biggest discovery of the entire Venture Bros. series happens when Rusty is serving the disguised villains teas. But more on that later.
It’s great to see Brock makes an return in this episode. Warburton has been busy doing every single tough guy’s voice, he’s too busy doing Brock anymore. While I really like to see more of Brock, I shouldn’t be complaining anymore. It can really be worse, and they can killed off Brock or something to clear Warburton’s schedule.
At the post credit scene of the episode, both Monarch and O.S.I. destroyed the S.P.H.I.N.X. headquarter and fly-ship respectively. This is the end of the entire S.P.H.I.N.X. organization.
Okay, let’s talk about the revelation. We learned that Rusty and Monarch used to be childhood friend or something, and there are picture to prove this.
I think it’s safe to assume that Rusty and the Monarch might even be brothers. The characters have similar manners, and kind of look alike too. The show is called Venture Bros., and maybe this whole time it’s actually referring to Rusty and Monarch the two brothers. Hopefully this is the case, because it will be a wonderful plot twist more than 10 years in making.
